Once the Dragonborn reaches a certain level, most fights become easy. There are many tough enemies and bosses that make this exploration pretty tough as well, but players will trivialize most of these challenges after a point. Updated on Maby Ritwik Mitra: Skyrim is full to the brim with so many things to explore that trying to do everything in a single playthrough can take ages. Next time players go on a dangerous quest in Skyrim and meet one of these creatures, they'll know what kind of challenge awaits them and how much they need to invest in it. Many players are still loyally playing the game more than ten years after its release, and are looking for a new kind of challenge, which can definitely come from the following bosses that are an absolute pain to deal with. With all the DLCs included, Skyrim has tons of different bosses that are either surprisingly easy to defeat or annoyingly difficult to deal with. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. Deadly Monsters didn't work, Enemy Enhancer is only half-working.Many people thought that dragons were the toughest enemies Skyrim could dish out when the game came out. So now I'm trying to work out what to do.Īll I want to do is increase the health / damage of all enemies in my game, without also buffing my follower to be a god. As another user here also experienced, there seem to be arbitrary enemies who are not affect by the health increases. Now, Enemy Enhancer does seem to be increasing the health of different types of enemies, but the problem is that it appears to only be working for some enemies, and not others. I found out that Deadly Monsters has been replaced by Enemy Enhancer, so I got that and remade my modlist / patches. Obviously this is a huge problem, so I enabled the "Deadly Monsters" add-on for the old version of Deadly Dragons I'm using, but then found out that apparently it wasn't working (none of my other enemies would get extra health like the Dragons were). So unless I start playing solo without a follower, the game doesn't actually get more difficult, it just means that Lydia picks up my slack more and more the hard I push the slider. Upon investigating, I learned that when you increase the vanilla difficulty sliders, it not only makes all the enemies much more powerful, but also your followers. Then recently I noticed that while the enemies were indeed challenging for me, Lydia would blast right through them like a superhero. While I've always used several mods to improve combat (Duel - Combat Evolved, Skyrim Immersive Creatures, ASIS, Deadly Dragons, Perkus Maximus, etc.), for managing the overall challenge of the game I had been content just tweaking the vanilla difficulty sliders (Adept, Expert, etc.) via Skytweak to alter the damage received / given to enemies.
